Shoulder
The shoulder joint has the biggest range of motion. There’s a very low contact area between the humeral head and corresponding glenoid. The joint stability is therefore mostly provided by complex surrounding soft tissue structures.
Arthroscopic surgery
- Impingement syndrome (endoscopic decompression)
- Rotator cuff disorders (sutures, refixation with titanium implants)
- Calcifing tendinitis of the the rotator cuff
- Frozen shoulder
- Arthroscopic treatment of degenerative arthritis of the joint
Endoscopic widening of the subacromial space (decompression)
Tear of the rotator cuff
- Surgical treatment of solder instability
- Implantation of modern cementless and cemented prothesis (total and hemi-arthroplasty)
