Since 2nd of february 2015 we have a new cooperation for stationary sugery with the Klinikum Starnberg.

Individual health services

The so called “individual health services” (IGeL) summarize specific diagnostic and therapeutic options which are not paid by the general insurances.

Therapy of degenerative arthritis and cartilage lesions of big and small joints (hyaluronic acid)
Bone density measurement (DEXA) for osteoporosis evaluation
Extracorporal shock wave therapy
Therapy of chronic inflammation of tendons with hyaluronic acid

Bone density measurement

Up to 20% of all bone mass may be undergoing remodeling at any point in time. If there’s an imbalance caused by several internal and external reasons the bone density can deteriorate with an increasing risk of bone fractures.

Osteoporosis has no symptoms and can only be evaluated with a measurement oft he bone density. The most reliable technique is the DEXA-method with a very low radiation exposure.

We have already performed about 20.000 measurements of the lumbar spine and the femoral neck.
